Fun with Event Branding!
Have you ever fallen in love with an event’s branding?
That’s what happened to me recently at SmileCon™, the American Dental Association’s new reimagined annual meeting. I was fortunate enough to help the excellent team at ADA with their COVID compliance work onsite. I had no idea when I walked into Mandalay Bay’s event space that the event branding was new. All I knew was that I loved it! So why was it so appealing?
There were so many different ways they implemented the use of their new branding of SmileCon to make it a success.
- Clever use of word play. You’re Ahhh-mazing! (Haven’t we all said “Ahhh” at our dentist visits?)
- Smart and consistent reinforcement of the SmileCon event brand itself.
- Smiles are Delightful
- Smiles are Authentic
- Smiles are Unstoppable
- Smiles are Shareable
- Smiles are Irresistible
- Clean graphics
- Appealing colors with the green and blues
- Use of quotes! Admittedly, I’m a geek for quotes, but any event that quotes Dolly Parton is a winner in my book.
Seriously!?! ADA must be so happy with the amazing results of this branding effort! With results that will pay off for years. It’s just about perfect that a conference for dentists makes you smile, right?
